Oct 23, 2025 - FASSelangor FC are currently in Bandung, Indonesia, for their third match of the 2025/26 AFC Champions League Two campaign against Persib Bandung at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium tonight at 8:15pm.
For the second consecutive year competing in this tournament, the Red Giants have been drawn in Group G alongside Bangkok United FC, Lion City Sailors FC, and Persib Bandung.
According to Selangor FC Head Coach Christophe Gamel, the team are well prepared to face both the opponent and their passionate supporters, and he believes his players will give their best.
“We have made good preparations although it is quite short. The players are in good shape and mood. I fully believe in the players and the team, so I am confident we will give our best in tonight’s match,” said Gamel.
“Persib have many talented players, but my focus is always on our own team. Whoever we face, it will be a great challenge, but our priority is to concentrate on ourselves. The presence of fans filling the stadium is a great thing. Last week we experienced a similar situation, so we are ready for this kind of atmosphere. It will somehow help the team deliver their best performance,” he added.
As for the players availability ahead of the match against Persib, Mukhairi Ajmal and Picha Autra are currently in the recovery phase from hamstring injuries. Apart from them, the rest of the Red Giants are ready to fight for the badge on their chest.
The Selangor FC management continue to stand firmly behind the team and wish them success in tonight’s match against Persib.
